Norrie Crocker-Electricity Maine Community Outreach Coordinator (L) presents a check to Jeana Roth, Community Relations Manager, Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. Their 4 legged friend is Emma, a recent addition to Norrie’s family.

Emma, a very happy rescue dog, posing proudly as Electricity Maine’s Norrie Crocker (l) presents the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland’s (ARLGP) Jeana Roth (r) with a check for $755.00. Electricity Maine’s Power to Help fund contributed $5 for each new customer who selected the ARLGP this past year.

Every year the ARLGP takes in more than 4,000 stray, abandoned or owner surrendered animals. Each animal is given the time it needs to find a home regardless of its age, color or medical condition until the time it is reunited with its family or adopted into a loving and responsible home.

The Power to Help Fund helps local organizations, such as the ARLGP, do what they do best…help their communities. Electricity Maine provides the tools and support each group needs to help them maximize their fundraising potential.

And, a happy outcome for Emma:

Norrie, Community Outreach Coordinator and Jeana, Community Relations Manager, have a special bond over Emma. Within the next few weeks, she will have her forever home with Norrie. Currently she is being fostered by Jeana as well as other staff at the ARLGP.
