Kevin Dean and Emile Clavet, owners of Provider Power, the parent company of ProviderPower Mass, recently joined hundreds of the nation’s top business leaders at Inc. Magazine’s annual conference and awards ceremony.
Inc. magazine ranked Provider Power NO. 33 on its 32nd annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. “It was a great honor to be recognized by Inc. Magazine and join business leaders and entrepreneurs from across the nation,” said Emile Clavet. “It was validation of our business model, the team we have in place in Maine and New Hampshire, and the work ethic of our employees.”
Provider Power is a growing New England-based Competitive Electricity Provider (CEP) currently licensed by the Maine and New Hampshire Public Utility Commissions to provide electricity supply to homes and small businesses in those states as Electricity Maine and ENH Power.
This years Inc. list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Zipcar, Clif Bar, Vizio, Oracle, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500|5000.
The 2013 Inc. 500, unveiled in the September issue of Inc., is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. To make the cut, companies had to have achieved a staggering minimum of 918.59% in sales growth. The Inc. 500’ s aggregate revenue is $14.1 billion, with a median three-year growth of 1739 percent. The companies on this year’s Inc. 500 employ more than 52,100 people and generated over 44,912 jobs in the past three years.
