As part of our commitment to the Maine community, Electricity Maine created the Power to Help Fund to support local non-profit organizations. To better educate the community about the work of these non-profits, Electricity Maine is focusing on a specific non-profit or cause each month.
In April, Electricity Maine will feature three of it’s non-profit partners: New Beginnings (Lewiston), Preble Street (Portand) and the Shaw House (Bangor) that address the needs of homeless youth in Maine.
Electricity Maine provides communication tools, technical and financial support for each of these groups to help meet their outreach and fundraising needs. These are long term relationships that are supported through Electricity Maine enrollments.
Information about the three organizations, upcoming events and contact information will be shared though social media, newsletters and featured on Electricity Maine’s website.
As a Maine-owned company Electricity Maine shares in the responsibility to build community, believing the health and well-being of our residents, businesses and communities are interconnected.
“While providing Electricity at fixed, competitive rates is our business, it is also a means for Electricity Maine to help support organizations across the state,” said Emile Clavet, co-owner of Electricity Maine.
