Electricity Maine #6 Car makes National Racing Magazine

Bowie_speedwayThe March 2014 Edition of Dick Berggren’s Speedway Illustrated magazine includes a piece about Chris Bowie, driver/owner of the Electricity Maine #6 Late Model car.

Dubbed “The People’s Racer”, Bowie describes how Electricity Maine and Bowie Motorsports plan to use their partnership to support Electricity Maine’s Power to Help Partners and engage younger race fans.

“Having that piece in Speedway Illustrated magazine is great recognition for off track work we are doing with Electricity Maine,” said Bowie.  “While track performance is the goal of any driver, we are doing so much work off the track to engage younger fans and support the philanthropic efforts of Electricity Maine.”

As a Maine company, Electricity Maine shares in the responsibility to build community. That’s why we created the Power to Help Fund. Our Power to Help Fund helps local organizations do what they do best…help people.

We provide the tools and support each group needs to help them maximize their fundraising potential.  To learn more about the Power to Help visit www.powertohelpmaine.com
